"a helmet is a protection symbol that is essential for safety, particularly
on the road and in many activities. Protection is needed in our life,
but overprotection will limit our creativity.
This artwork is parody of overprotection that is symbolized with
an umbrella put on the top of a helmet."

"the period of 1744 to 1854 is known as the white round for the history of
Indonesian newspapers belonged to the Europeans, which were published
in Dutch for the Dutch readers. The distribution was not merely
done through display windows but also distributed by paperboys.
In a nation preserving its tradition, the distribution method has been
well maintained and well sustained, causing target to shift into another function."

which illustrates Indonesian nature in the village. These shoes represents the
two icons. The traditional culture through Jelekong paintings and

17|71 : Fighting Scratches of Independence

to commemorate the 71st Indonesian Independence Day, The Presidential Palace was exhibiting some of presidential collection of its most historic paintings and photographs.
the exhibition took place at the National Gallery of Indonesia.

it took me (again) a year later to post it.
i ever felt a second thought to post it. since the photo i took is a fine art. is it okay to post it, regarding the copyright issue. me as a (slightly) designer, will be mad if my artwork being used not in a good way. it might happen when somebody took a photo of the artwork, then somebody else took it for another use not in a good way.
then if you guys having any comment / revise / request to delete the photo, feel free to contact me or comment on this post. it's also applies to other postings.

until a month ago (since i am writing this), i had an idea to take photo :
  • from far away. the artwork not fully in frame. so the quality of the image is decrease.
  • very closer, and not posting the fully artwork. i can't resist the details on everything.
  • take photo the name of its creator and the name of the artwork. it's important as a way of appreciation.

then, here are the selected photos.
p.s start from this i will (mostly) take photo with sikses. so much blessed :)))

look at the crowds. i feel touched :)

Jogja Trip as our little reunion

a year later, here i am posting it.

five of us travelled to Jogja.
we have 3 days to spend, minus 1 day to attend the wedding of one of us.

kalibiru, 1.5 hour waiting to be pictured

since i knew about this place, this will be my another list.
at that year i had a chance to visit Jogja, but it only a quick visit. to had dinner with big family. and we stayed at Magelang.
thanks God, i didn't insist to Kalibiru with parents at that time.
there was not much thing to do except taking photos at the tree. and to take that photo we need to pay extra cash (except the entrance fee and vehicle fee) and waiting until our turns. even there are several spots, our options only limited, not all of them could enable 5 person. due to maximum capacity of each spot for safety issue.

looks like photo studio :(:
the real tone color

pssst... i did regret to let local people to take us the photo. their camera is a dslr, but i never expected the result will be too much edited. even we got the soft copy straight away.
if you choose to take photo by yourself you can take picture as many as you want. (please correct me, my memory is not good)
if you choose to take photo by dslr local people, you will pay extra cash too. and from all the picture they taken, only a certain quantity of the photos that could be given.
remember to bring usb or data cable.

ooh.. maybe you can do this trick. give your own dslr to local people, put automatic or P mode and took with jpeg + raw files. then you can edit it easily.

i got the beach, sand, water, but no bright sky

as recommended by che" and my craving for sea sand water. we went to a series of beach, there are : baron, kukup, sepanjang, drini, krakal, sundak, indrayanti, pulang sawal, pok tunggal.
i am not really remember which are we visited, in between drini, indrayanti, and baron.

a few minute after we arrived the sky is cloudy and dark. why should be that day ???
while waiting the sky is clear, we had lunch. thankfully, the sky was clearer.
